Both we and the hosts are delighted to invite you to another edition of the IT multi-conference – Federated Conference on Computer Science and Information Systems (FedCSIS). It will be held from the 4th to 7th of September 2017 in the Czech Prague. By the 10th of May 2017 you can suggest your reports here.

FedCSIS is a cycle of scientific conferences, symposiums, schooling and other events where the IT specialists from all over the world debate over the most trending subjects from this area – from artificial intelligence, through the methods of developing a software, multimedia systems, to using IT in the fields of management, business and medicine.

In the previous edition of the event, which was held in Poland, took part 355 scientists and IT practitioners from all over the world, who presented 274 reports.

The host of the event are The Polish Information Processing Society, Systems Research Institute PAN, Wrocław University of Economics, Czech Technical University in Prague and Warsaw University of Technology. The content partner are two the most essential IT associations in the world – IEEE Computer Society i ACM.

The agreement on cooperation with the Lviv Polytechnic

We are delighted to announce that The Polish Cluster for Internet of Things Research and Development (Polski Klaster Badań i Rozwoju Internetu Rzeczy) has made an agreement on cooperation with the Lviv Polytechnic. Regarding the location of the Cluster, it was natural for us to cooperate and transfer our good patterns to the Ukrainian market. We believe that together we will be able to animate the market of the Internet of Things even more, especially in case of the two key fields which are Smart City oraz Industry IoT (IioT).

We can notice a huge potential in the newly created Ukrainian economy and quickly developing cities. Thanks to cooperation with companies who belong to the Cluster, we are able to fulfill the market needs and, at the same time, establish a technological bridge – states Michał Pukacz, the coordinator of the Cluster.

Also, we are going to support the Lviv Polytechnic students’ activities by helping them to develop their ideas and technological startups. We want to facilitate them commercialization of a product and, at the same time, advice them in terms of projects.

The Lublin University of Technology joins the Cluster

We are delighted to welcome in our group another University, that is The Lublin University of Technology – the only institute of technical higher education in Lublin.

From the moment of creation the The Lublin University of Technology educates engineers and carries on research especially for the needs of Lublin Voivodeship.

The main focus of the research that are currently being conducted at the Lublin University of Technology are connected with the development of construction and technology, environment protection and saving materials and energy. The Lublin University of Technology carries on expertise and consulting services. The University also follows the newest trends and and conducts research in the field of the Internet of Things.

The result of the research are numerous scientific research articles, patents and protection rights. We believe that working together will result in exchanging knowledge and commercialization of the achievements made by the employees of the University in the field of the Internet of Things.
